A few Visitors

We have been having a few different visitors lately....not just the human kind!
I went to put the boat trailer on to our truck one morning and I almost squashed this amazing looking Moth!...is it a endemic one??. it didn't mind having its photo taken.

Our other visitor is this beautiful NZ Falcon,Karearea
It has been watching for food quite regularly from our neighbours tree! It certainly is a privilege to have them hanging out in our back yard.

From the Trig.

The other week we were up the new

Okarito Trig Track. We were there just as the mountains cleared!

After not seeing them for a few days it is quite breath-taking to spot them again.

Sorry for the very infrequent posts I will try and post a few today and hopefully not bore you too much!...am still getting the hang of this all!
