Lagoon opening.

these little White fronted Terns were just hanging out close to where they opened the Lagoon .

Yay...things are moving again!

the sky looking west was looking rather moody

and the sky to the east looked magic!

not the best photos sorry, just a wee project for work, as we had a bit of a disaster with our cushion covers and needed new ones.

a work in progress, will show you end results if it works out OK!

A little cloud and a lot of water...

I just wanted to show of my new pressie, handmade by a gorgeous lady doing the craft markets in Christchurch... it is a wee cloud cushion up cycled from a very nice wool blanket! Thank you kind friend :)

the lagoon is blocked at the moment and the last few days has seen it rise due to a bit of rain...

I think you need a kayak M?

more water and the last bit of sun

this is the first time we have seen the board walk under water!

Yay! the digger is on its way to open it up tomorrow morning!

hope your week is looking a bit dryer :)

Boating adventure.

Last weekend was the opening of duck shooting season, so we decided to leave the lagoon to the shooters and head to another waterway (where you cannot shoot ducks because it is National park) Lake Mapourika. It is only about 15 minutes drive from us.

Picnic time, sausages !(no we don't just live on sausages!!).

a little friend, Tomtit
up another creek so still and amazing reflections.
we had a super cool day!

Hope you are all doing good :)
