Yay it worked! now where did the glider land???

Spring is here!

Dinner time!!!

First the mountains turned pink and then everything around us glowed!

 

even the big old gum tree!

that was worth all the rain for!

this local was just hanging out on the weekend! if you look really close you can see the tip of its beak changing colour (for breeding!!) and the wind is just ruffling its breeding plumage!

A Sunny Day

The Cabbage Tree outside our work is showing signs of being spectacular this year!














Another blue sky day in Okarito.

We went for a walk this evening and saw some very cute wee Banded Dotterel chicks running thru the Pingao grass.


This parent was out and about!
