Early morning road home.

 

a couple of weekends ago we snuck away to Central to visit family and to say Goodbye to one of our favourite nephew's as he and his beautiful wife depart again to London for more adventures!

 

we got up super early (well for me it was!!)to travel home...but we were rewarded with the most amazing sunrise, with mist and shadows all the way up the Coast Stunning! and sorry, these were all taken out of the car window so excuse the squashed bugs!

 

and we came back loaded with Ma and Pa's tomato harvest (just one days worth!)yum ...have turned it all in to Passata for winter!

The Vege Patch.

I think I need to find some time to get this area a bit under control! Flowers seem to be out numbering vegetable at the moment!

Yay!.... I harvested my first zucchinis for the season, hopefully 10 plants should see us thru!

The other morning before the rain set in for a few days!

I could hear a loud hum coming from the vegetable garden .....the bees were going crazy! some flower heads had about 6- 8 bees in it plus the Hebe hedge was alive!
